Many of the children who attend Pitton Pre-School go on to school at either Pitton Primary School or Winterslow Primary School. However, many also go further afield, including Salisbury and Amesbury. We have included links here to schools that children often go to.

All the schools will welcome a visit from prospective families, and most hold open days during the summer or autumn terms to enable parents to get a feel for the school in action.
As well as visiting schools, it may be helpful to consider their latest OFSTED report, available from the school or online at www.ofsted.gov.uk
Applying for school places
If your child is 4 before 1 September 2010, they are able to start school during the next academic year, starting September 2010. This might be in September or January according to their birth date and the school's admission policy.
(Legally a child has to be in full time education from the term after their fifth birthday.)
Please visit your chosen schools, many of them have open days during the Autumn term.
You MUST apply for a place. Applications are handled by the Local Education Authority. Online applications are now closed and you must make a paper application.
Applications for the academic year starting September 2011 may be made online from 1st September 2010.
If your chosen school is in Wiltshire;
You may apply online www.wiltshire.gov.uk, or collect a form from the school or pre-school which has to be posted back to County Hall, Trowbridge.
If your chosen school is in Hampshire;
You may apply online www.hants.gov.uk, or collect a form from the school, which should then be returned to the first choice school.
