Early Years Professional of the Year

Carrie was delighted to be awarded the Early Years Professional of the Year award for 2010 by Wiltshire Local Authority.

The official press release is shown below.

"It is with great pleasure and pride that Wiltshire Local Authority recognise the commitment and professionalism of a group of Early Years practitioners who have achieved their 'Early Years Professional Status'. Twenty Five practitioners attended an awards ceremony in June and were recognised for their ongoing achievements in supporting and nurturing children between the ages of 0 -5 years in Wiltshire in ensuring quality practice was at the forefront of Early Years childcare and education. The  Early Years Professional Status is recognised nationally, and those that achieve this status have gone through  further rigorous and in-depth learning which covers every aspect of child development and learning. This Status was developed as a vital and important stepping stone to achieving a graduate led workforce that would ensure that children received the best start in life for a brighter future.
Amongst those recognised was Carrie Beckett who was also awarded the Early Years Professional of the Year 2010. Carrie was nominated by parents and colleagues for her innovative and inspirational approach in working with children and can be pictured here with her fellow Early Years Professionals after the ceremony. Congratulations to all.'"
